So, I like Rap and Street Art. Go figure - London Hidden Gem The Vaults

Tunnel in London showing street art, grafitti

I think you'd be surprised to learn that I like Rap. The baroque like adherence to rhythm, the uncensored poetic lyric, the rawness of the emotion and the conviction behind it. Don't get me wrong, there are some artists that push the boundaries of decency. I do have limits.

I feel similarly to good street art.

The Vaults - London Street Art

It was a little unnerving at first. An afflicted past will do that to you. Also, there is a lot to take in. Once I settled into it though I could appreciate the abundance of creativity.

I do not profess to know much about art, but I do appreciate purpose behind it, the use colour or lack of it. This ceiling is a revelation. I could stare at it for hours. I would be interested to hear a more informed opinion so feel free to comment.

That's it from me today. I'm off on a long walk around the English countryside.

Stay well and have a great week.
